About Wayside Campervan Hire
We are a small, family-run Campervan hire business based in Slindon, West Sussex, providing a choice of 3 good quality campervans for rent. We established Wayside Campervan Hire to help people explore the growing interest in camping, touring and outdoor holidays with the comfort and ability to go where you want throughout the UK.
As a family-run business, we always provide our valued customers with personal care, attention, and expert advice. We are flexible wherever possible, so if you are unsure, ask. Our campervans are bespoke built, each with the comfort and style to suit a variety of seasons, all at competitive rates.

Campervan hire FAQs
Can I choose the pick-up and drop-off location for my campervan rental?
No, picking up the campervan for hire is at 2 pm at Wayside, Bridle Ln, Slindon Common, Arundel, West Sussex, BN18 0NA. See the map and directions here.
What is the minimum age requirement to rent a campervan?
The minimum age to hire a campervan from us is 23. Although if you are 23 or 24, the refundable excess will be £750. The maximum age for a person to hire a campervan from us is 75.
If you are 23 or 24 years of age, we would recommend calling us to book.
What is your cancellation policy for campervan rentals?
For cancellations more than six weeks before the commencement of the hire period, the customer will forfeit the booking deposit. For cancellation less than six weeks before the start of the Hire Period or failure by the Customer to turn up for the beginning of the Hire Period, the Customer will be liable for the total Hire Charge.
The Insurance excess will be returned in full. We reserve the right to cancel the Booking before the commencement of the Hire Period if the Named Driver(s) Licences are invalid or do not comply with the information stated on the Booking Form. In this case, the Customer will forfeit the total Hire Charge.

Can I take the campervan on a ferry or travel abroad?
No, not at the current time. We only allow campervan travel within the UK.
What is the fuel policy for campervan rentals?
The fuel policy for our campervans is straightforward. You collect your campervan with a full tank of fuel and return it with a full tank of fuel. Nice and easy!
Can I make special requests or add-ons to my campervan rental?
Yes and no. There are additional options to add upon booking, but if you have any special requests, please get in touch with us.
